GRAPHICS
The below graphics identify toilet paper as part of a hidden belief system. By using toilet paper to create layering, transparency, and typography, the concept got reflected through recognizable text that is visible and not visible. By making the viewer understand yet not exactly know what they’re seeing and reading, these design decisions capture what I think a belief system is: random yet dominating social rules that most people know about but can’t identity, can’t see, maybe even can’t discuss, but still influence us to establish commonalities and expected social order.
